Telecommunications Riggers and Field Technicians

We are seeking suitably experienced Riggers and Technicians to form field crews for several mobile network rollouts. The work will be across the metropolitan region of Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, Perth and Adelaide. Ideally you have mobile network construction experience in all aspects of:

  • Antennas
  • Feeder cables
  • Power systems
  • Base station electronics
  • Microwave transmission systems.

Rigger applicants need to have appropriate Communications rigging accreditations with 2-3 years experience in the industry. Technicians need to be familiar with mobile telephone switching and networking systems. All applicants also need a current drivers licence.

Installation / Commissioning Engineers

We are currently seeking commissioning engineers coupled with installation experience. Ideally you will have experience with Marconi SMAs and know how to perform basic tasks using the Local Craft Terminal. You are familiar with Bit Error test equipment and have experience in transmission systems. To be eligible to apply you must have:

  • 2-3 years telecommunications industry experience
  • Good communication skills
  • Attention to detail
  • Good technical report writing skills
  • Current drivers license
Project Managers

We are currently seeking individuals with 4+ years management experience in a network rollout environment combined with hands-on field deployment experience such as installation and commissioning. Responsibilities include:

  • Manage teams of field technicians and riggers.
  • Complete regular progress reports.
  • Oversee project logistics. e.g. equipment delivery, site access, etc.
  • Participate in client meetings.

Skills Required:

  • Bachelor of Engineering (Electrical)
  • Project Management
  • Strong Communications Skills
  • Ability to work with a multi-disciplined team leading both Technology and Business team members.
  • Strong reporting skills
